Sodium Hyaluronate API both Injection and Eyedrop applications
Hyaluronic acid, also known as hyaluronan, HA and uronic acid, is a linear polysaccharide composed of repeating disaccharide units of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-glucosamine
It is not sulfated or covalently bound to proteins, but exists in the form of free or noncovalent complexes. Its structure is simple but the relative molecular weight is very large.

Application
1.Ophthalmic Surgery
Protects corneal endothelial cells from surgical instrument damage
Maintain the depth and shape of the anterior chamber of eyes for easy surgical operation
Provides a clear surgical field for the surgeon
Provides a viscoelastic space that facilitates the placement of the implant
2.Articular Cartilage
Lubrication, reduce friction
Prevent cartilage degradation, protect cartilage, and promote cartilage formation
Masking membrane sensation, relieving pain
Regulates cellular function and inhibits angiogenesis
3.Wound Healing
HA accelerates the migration rate of injured epithelial cells and promotes the mobilization of macrophages necessary for wound healing.
HA also transports certain proteins and peptides such as growth factors to the wound parts, which plays an important role in wound healing.
